Meet Dr. James Krejci and Dr. Andrew Benson

Benson Family Dentistry is a locally and family owned dental care facility with two locations at St. Paul and Loup City to serve you conveniently. We have been in business since 2016 and are members of American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, St. Paul Chamber of Commerce, and Loup City Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Andrew Benson

Dr. Andrew Benson

A graduate of the UNMC College of Dentistry, Dr. Benson is originally from Worms, NE, where he grew up. With a keen interest to know his patients, Dr. Benson lists painful teeth removal as his favorite dental procedure. 


Dr. Benson is married to Kristin and they are raising three young children: William, Hannah, and Kate together. When not at work, Dr. Benson likes to spend time with his family as well as hunting and fishing.


Dr. Benson serves at Saint Paul and Loup City Location.
Dr. James Krejci

Dr. James Krejci

Dr. Krejci graduated from the UNMC College of Dentistry and has been serving the Saint Paul area for more than 30 years. In most cases where dental care is involved in Saint Paul, Dr. Krejci is the go-to person. He has been known for developing healthy bonds with his patients all these years.


Dr. Krejci is married to Laurie Krejci, who also works as his dental assistant and the couple has two adult children. In his leisure time Dr. Krejci likes to go deer hunting and work on his classic car.


Dr. Krejci provides services at the Saint Paul Location.

Barb Simmons

Barb Simmons -
Front Office, Insurance, Dental Assistant

Barb Simmons is a Centura High School graduate and attended Spencer School of Business. She began her career in the dental care profession 1985.

Barb is married with four children and is a proud grandmother of three grandchildren. Her leisure activities include riding motorcycles, seeing her grandchildren and attending Third City Christian Church.

Valerie McDonald

Valerie McDonald - 
Dental Assistant

Valerie is a North Loup Scotia High School graduate, class of 2013. She attended the Dental Assisting Program at Hastings CCC in 2015 and has been in the dental profession for the past three years.

Valerie is married and has a dog that she calls Bo. She spends her spare time going to the lake, kayaking and jeeping.

Laurie Krejci

Laurie Krejci-
Dental Assistant

Laurie works as a dental assistant to Dr. Krejci and is married to him. Interaction with the people in the community is something she enjoys.

Laurie and Dr. Krejci have two adult children. In her leisure time, she takes care of her garden, walks and visits her kids.

Jennell ‘Nellie’ Campbell

Jennell ‘Nellie’ Campbell -Registered Dental Hygienist

Nellie graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1998 and the Dental Hygiene Program through Hastings CCC in 2011. She is a recipient of the Dental Hygienist of the Year 2016, awarded by the Nebraska Dental Hygienists Association.

Nelle is a proud mother to three young children: two sons and a daughter. She enjoys outdoor activities, particularly camping.

Courtney Gruber

Courtney Gruber - 
Dental Hygienist

Courtney's job as a dental hygienist makes her work enjoyable. She considers helping patients achieve their oral health goals and supplying them with the correct tools and proper information for achieving the same a rewarding experience.

Originally from Waco, NE, Courtney currently calls the area near Wolbach, NE her home. In her spare time, she likes cooking and engages in outdoor activities such as kayaking and walking.

Sherry Bell

Sherry Bell - 
Front Desk

Sherry has over 30 years of experience in the dental field working in the same location. She is there to happily help you with all of your dental insurance queries. She considers interaction with patients the favorite part of her job.

When Sherry is not working, she usually helps one of her five grandchildren at their sporting activities.
